Chiareggio house starts on site

June 2014

Work has commenced on a 1950s family holiday home nestled into a clearing at the edge of a woods of pine and fir trees in the Italian Alps. Having obtained, against all odds, planning permission for the addition of two bedrooms and two shower rooms, the new occupants are also intent on refurbishing the interior to suit their personal needs, while at the same time ensuring that the character of this ship-shape and yet cosy mountain house is fully retained.
