Marylebone High Street

Barbara Weiss Architects have successfully gained planning permission for a 31 apartment scheme on Marylebone High Street. The proposals include the complete reorganisation and refurbishment of the existing buildings as well as new additions to the rear and the roof. The scheme retains and refurbishes the retail units at ground floor and basement level, with the residential apartments set over four floors above. The existing plant space to the rear will be transformed into a planted courtyard for residents to enjoy.
BWA have recently completed the tender packages, with construction work due to begin early 2019. Reconfiguration and refurbishment of the ground floor retail including complete upgrade of the shopfronts and new Portland Stone surrounds, are ongoing.
