Marylebone High Street
Barbara Weiss Architects have successfully gained planning permission for a 31 apartment scheme on Marylebone High Street. The proposals include the complete reorganisation and refurbishment of the existing buildings as well as new additions to the rear and the roof. The scheme retains the retail units at ground floor and basement level, with the residential apartments set over four floors above. The existing plant space to the rear will be transformed into a planted courtyard for residents to enjoy.
BWA are commencing work on the developed design for the full residential scheme this Autumn. Works to upgrade the shopfronts, which include the addition of Portland Stone surrounds, are ongoing.
